Room and facilities feel a bit dated. A bit far from the center, it's on the opposite site of the station (10 minutes) in respect to the castle.

very clean, and has a great yokujyo. great quality breakfast.

the guided parking lot was very full. Had to wait few minutes to get in. After, we parked, and got in the place, then realized that there are more parking lot locations near by. i think this should be guided in a better way.

Best hotel I stayed in during my Japan trip.

A fantastic centrally located Hotel, that is easily accessible from the train station. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel facilities, such as the onsen were a treat.

Accidentally booked a room on a smoking floor and the room and whole floor smelled incredibly strong of cigarette smoke. Otherwise no issues

I consider good stay, but could be better. Next future, maybe.

The breakfast menu was the same everyday. I am Muslim and had limitations with some meal. There was only pork sausage, why not chicken sausage? It is important to consider the multi choice.

The TV only in Japanese language, it was tuff to stay in the sleeping room.

Lovely hotel a 10 minute stroll from the station !

We only stayed one night but it as very comfortable. The hotel had an onsen which my wife took full advantage of as it was free to use . The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. WiFi was good and the facilities were good too. On a personal note I was extremely grateful to the staff who kindly forwarded my glasses (I’d left them behind) to our next hotel and at no extra charge. Excellent customer service. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone visiting Himeji.

Formula hotel with great onsen

Himeji Castle Grandvrio Hotel is mostly frequented by older Japanese couples who visit the large and complete onsen. It was fun to join this Japanese tradition for an evening. The rooms are a bit outdated, with a bed in which we did not fit well. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the station and somes 20 minutes from the castle.

There was no power near the bed, the air con was very noisy and either too hot or too cold. You can hear some road noise.
